Psychological Assessments

Individuals are referred for psychological evaluation for many reasons.   I use a combination formalized testing, interviews, and in-person clinical assessment to develop a treatment plan.  Psychological evaluations are not a one-size-fits-all so I work with my clients to determine the best approach for each situation.

Testing and assessments are two separate but related components of a psychological evaluation.  Testing involves the use of a formal test such as questionnaires and checklists.  Assessments may include in-person clinical evaluation, interviewing individuals close to my clients such as medical professionals or family members.  (Such interviews are only conducted if approved in writing from my clients)

I finalize all assessments with a written report that interprets the testing and clinical interactions to determine the best way to help my cleints.

Assessments may be used for:

  • Relationships
  • Adoption
  • Pre-surgical

  • Employment
